The Clive Festival will be here before you know it and we are continually making it better! As one of the best community festivals in the Des Moines Metro area, we have built upon a nature theme to celebrate our beautiful Greenbelt Trail, with the Festival located at Greenbelt Landing (1801 NW 114th Street in Clive Iowa). This year’s schedule is packed with activities for both kids and adults to provide a well-rounded event for the entire Clive community.
This year don’t miss out on the Clive Running Festival on Saturday morning!
Clive Festival’s popular Kid’s Craft Activities will return on Saturday at the Library with crafts and story-telling, in addition to our inflatables and two giant slip-and-slides hosted by the Clive Fire Department.
This year’s Festival will also feature an art contest for local school children from many of the local area schools. Art will be judged by the Clive Arts Commission with winning artwork from each age group proudly displayed in Clive’s City Hall.
The fun will wrap-up Saturday evening around 9:45 p.m. with an annual “Thunder Over Clive” fireworks celebration.
The Clive Festival donates a portion of our proceeds to deserving local charities and municipal services including fire, police, parks and recreation and library. If you would like to volunteer for the year’s event, signup here!
As always, thank you for your interest in the Clive Festival, we hope you’ll join us in making our 2019 Clive Festival the best one yet!
